Description
Lorz Italian can be Spring planted for bulbs or green garlic, but keep in mind it will not get as large as Fall and Winter plantings. A big flavorful artichoke type, this variety is an Italian heirloom brought to Washington State in the early 1900’s. It has a nice spicy flavor and is part of the Slow Food Movement “USA Ark of Taste” committed to preserving endangered heritage foods. It matures early and reliably produces large bulbs with big cloves, with a high ratio of seed to harvest yield. A great “workhorse” garlic for market or home use. *For bulk pricing, select 1 lb. **Please note that bulk-priced garlic will be quoted and charged additional shipping/insurance.
